Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JobEJ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JobEJ Inc.

2. Description of Service

JobEJ is a job application tracking and management platform that allows users to:

• Track job applications and their statuses
• Store company information and research
• Prepare for interviews with Q&A storage
• Track salary expectations and offers
• Build and manage resumes
• Use browser extensions for quick job saving

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep this information updated.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

JobEJ offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide access to additional features as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Payment is processed through PayPal.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan.

4.4 Lifetime Plans

JobEJ offers one-time payment lifetime plans as an alternative to recurring subscriptions. Lifetime plans are subject to the following terms:

• Definition of "Lifetime": Lifetime access means access to the Service for as long as the Service remains operational. It does not refer to the lifetime of the purchaser.
• 14-Day Refund Policy: You may request a full refund within 14 days of your lifetime plan purchase date. Refunds are processed through PayPal. After 14 days, no refunds will be issued for lifetime plans.
• Features Included: Lifetime plans include all features available at the time of purchase, plus any updates and improvements made to those features. Major new product lines or add-ons released after your purchase may be sold separately.
• No Recurring Charges: Lifetime plans are a one-time payment. You will not be charged again for the same plan.
• Service Discontinuation: In the event that JobEJ ceases operations, lifetime plan holders will receive at least 90 days advance notice and the ability to export all their data before the Service is discontinued.

4.5 Refund Policy

For recurring subscriptions: No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. You retain access until the end of your current billing period after cancellation.

For lifetime plans: Full refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, no refunds will be issued. To request a refund, use the refund option in your account settings or contact us at jobej@kamazoun.com.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create and store in JobEJ (job applications, notes, resumes, etc.).

5.2 License

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality, is owned by JobEJ Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the Service will help you find employment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobEJ Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which JobEJ Inc. operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
